Description
Also in 2009 I met This lady, the grandmother of Muskan (age 10) in Pune.
When Muskan was 6 years old she got TB. Now she is physically handicapped at one leg and one hand. Bothe her parents died from AIDS. Since then she lives with her grandmother Asiana. When the parents died they found Muskan too was infected with HIV. Grandmother Asia works in a hotel for which she gets 600 roepees (8,5 €) a month. She has to pay 700 roepees for rent. In the rainy season they have house problems.
When I asked Asia what she wants to tell the world she said “I WANT SHELTER”.

Dramatic portrait photograph of an unfortunate woman in India with a sad story, with great pose, light, and composition, Lieve! F/L
Lieve Snellings replied:
Thank you Morris. Her story was indeed dramatic, and this I wanted to show in the portrait
