Description
The upspringing water of the waterfall makes every year a 'pain de sucre', a sugar bread, as they call it in Quebec. This little guy is climbing the sugar bread. Arriving at the top, he sees the frozen water of the waterfall Montmorency. A magical experience.
The photo was taken with my Nikon D300, 18-270 mm Tamron lens, f11, 1/800, iso 250
Chute Montmorency, Quebec, Canada

An astonishing view! I've never seen a photo of a snowy waterfall like this. The contrast with the perfectly smooth, round hill is a nice touch, too. l/f
Lieve Snellings replied:
Thank you Dorothy! The round hill is formed by the freezing of upsetting water of the waterfall
